TEDxGrantham is run entirely by volunteers. Whether you have a few hours a month in the run-up or a full Saturday on 10 October 2026, there is a role with your name on it.

Year one takes around a dozen people behind the scenes: some helping in the weeks before the event, some on the day itself. You do not need TEDx experience. You need to be reliable, friendly, and up for being part of something Grantham has not seen before.

Stage control

Kaffy Rice-Oxley

Kaffy is the voice coach behind Voice Confident, helping people speak with clarity, composure and confidence. On the day, she will help keep the stage running smoothly.

Known to local listeners through Hive Radio, Suzie will be among the friendly faces welcoming guests and helping everyone find their seat.

This Grantham coffee shop, based in the George Shopping Centre, will serve tea, coffee and hot chocolate to keep the conversations flowing.

A final-year photography student at Grantham College, Alicja will help capture the people and moments that make the day memorable.

A filmmaker and founder of Oku2 Studios, Eddie is part of Paul’s team. He will help capture the talks and atmosphere in photographs and video.

Marketing & Social Media

  • Create social media content and schedule posts

Join the event-day crew at The King’s School, Grantham, 1pm to 5pm plus setup. You will see the whole event from the inside.
